INEZ (Diong Chae Lian) calls the shots at a backpacker hostel and fusses over the future of her unmarried PhD-holding son. Widowed ANURA (Mary George) runs a coconut candy business from her home kitchen.
Set in the early days of Covid-19, Pineapple Tarts explores the impact of the pandemic on women’s lives, the depths of female friendships, the secrets we share and the ones we hold back.
