Author event with Hanna Alkaf

We’re thrilled to once again welcome Hanna Alkaf to Lit Books to discuss her latest YA offering, The Hysterical Girls of St. Bernadette’s. In conversation with Hanna during the session at 11am on Oct 12 will be none other than Devina Sivagurunathan, one half of the Sivagurunathan & Chua Literary Agency, a Malaysian-based literary agency which seeks to bring new and diverse Malaysian writing to the world. Hysterical Girls bears all the hallmarks of Hanna’s writing: compelling characters, dark mysteries, and sharp critiques of social mores that continue to oppress young women in Malaysia.

There will be an audience Q&A as well as a book signing on the evening. Please purchase your tickets early as spaces are limited. Tickets are RM10 and you will receive a RM10 voucher to use on event day.
