Author Event with Dina Zaman

We are pleased to welcome Dina Zaman to Lit Books to discuss the re-issue of her collection of short stories, King of the Sea. Join us at 8pm on Sept 7, 2024 where Lit Books co-founder Elaine Lau will be in conversation with Dina on the re-edition of her book, as well as share her thoughts on home and country 12 years after the book’s initial publication. On the agenda as well is Dina’s take on the writerly life, her work these days and her upcoming publication expected in 2025. Dina Zaman is a Kuala Lumpur-based writer and researcher. She is the co-founder of IMAN Research, a think tank focusing on socio-political and security matters, and a founding member of the Southeast Asian Women Peacebuilders.

There will be an audience Q&A as well as a book signing on the evening. Please purchase your tickets early as spaces are limited. Tickets are RM10 and you will receive a RM10 voucher to use on event day.
